WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT?

This course is designed to give you a clear step-by-step plan of how to tackle baby sleep in stages, rather than all at once. In the course we'll show you how full-term healthy babies can reach 4-6+ hour stretches at night and a drowsy-but-awake putdown as early as the second month of life! Within 5-7 days, you should begin to see some results, with most parents reporting that they were able to put down baby awake in the crib at least once per day successfully within 21 days.
Sleep “shaping” is a term we developed after ditching outdated sleep training methods that leave baby alone in the room at bedtime to “figure out” sleep on their own, which usually results in hours of crying and waking up before 6am. Sleep shaping also keeps a child’s emotional well-being in mind, so that baby doesn’t feel abandoned, scared, or hungry when they wake up at night. We work to support baby along the way, and offer multiple solutions to family sleeping situations.

We specialize in pediatric nutrition, so this is a HUGE part of your baby’s sleep shaping journey—in fact, it’s so important, that we dedicated an entire LESSON to it. We also dedicate a section of each age group to help identify alternative soothing methods you can use aside from a feed, that coupled with some sleep magic, baby will come to know and prefer.
WHAT ABOUT NIGHT FEEDINGS?
We have a full module dedicated to feedings, and yes, you can keep as many as you'd like! You'll learn when to feed baby (and how long/how much) using our easy-to-follow chart, and get our EBF/formula/supplementing pointers to use on the nightly. In this module, you'll see how to properly burp baby to reduce chances of indigestion or waking up with gas pains, too! You'll gain more information about dream feeds, breastfed/bottlefed, and how to the begin eat-play-sleep routine. PLUS more breastfeeding tips and lactation help from some of our super-knowledgable friends.
WILL MY BABY SLEEP THROUGH THE NIGHT AFTER USING THIS CLASS?
We define "sleeping through the night" as 8+ hours of night sleep with or without feeds. In short: It's completely possible! At this age your baby is not ready for "formal" sleep training methods (aka STTN within 7 days like our older classes provide), or a clock schedule; they are still just a bit too young for that. Instead, we focus on nutrition, emotional well-being of the child, and routine to build trust with our babies, while achieving bigger stretches of sleep as they grow and develop.
